I'd like to see a rating of just who has the best taco truck or stand in town. Leaving out the brick & mortar establishments, is there any sort of rating system available for this sort of thing?

Wasn't there another thread with this topic?

I'm partial to the one near Homestead Hwy @ 34th.

The guy is a jerk, but he makes awesome tacos.

Robb Walsh did a series of posts about taco trucks.

Jarro Cafe on Gessner just north of Long Point is excellent. I didn't realize Walsh had written it up. There is a brick and mortar cafe (in what appears to be a former Pizza Inn) but a trailer out front serves a limited menu and is spotless and quick. Al Pastor, conchinita pibil and carnitas en estilo Michoacan are all excellent; I haven't been impressed with the bifstek or campechano. A couple of the 5 salsas available are incendiary. Served on very flimsy paper plates, unfortunately, and can be difficult to manage.

There's one in the rear of the parking lot of Canino's Produce Market on Airline I've heard about, Tocambaro?, but the one time I went looking for it it was gone for the day.
