mls1202
Emirates is a top notch airline, one of the best I have flow on and a competitor in terms of quality of service to Singapore Air, Thai Air, etc. I would take this as a nice plug from them. brucesw
Very good. I might quibble with Tila's as the best representative of the huge Mexican influence on our cuisines here. And the notion of a stroll down Smith Street brings a smile - from where? Pretty good walk from any hotel I can think of.
WestGrayGuy
There are so many Mexican restaurants to choose from, it is hard to list one. However, I DO LOVE those quesadillas at Tila's. I also love T'afia. Monica rocks! I would say good taste. My $.
MidtownCoog
That looks a lot like the same list I have seen on either BA or CO. As far as hotels, the Hyatt is on Smith St and the Doubltree is one block over on Dallas. EDIT: And I forgot he Crowne Plaza hotel on Smith. wakester
Emirates is one of my favorite airlines. I use to fly the NY/JFK to Dubai flight. Emirates has a thing that if you fly first or business class on that flight, they will provide dinner at the Ritz-Carlton. It was so nice, I would fly to NY in the morning. Take the subway into Manhattan. Sightsee for a few hours. Go have a great dinner at the Ritz-Carlton. They would send a car to pick you up and drive you back to JFK. I wonder if they will setup a similar type of thing for the Houston flight.
