Mortgage problems hit Houston market

I did read that article. I just figured that folks on the board might have detailed info when and where the riskiest mortgages were taken out. Like for example...there were a plethora of 3/1 ARMs taken out for properties in 77007 2.5 years ago. I just made that up...but that's the sort of info I'm looking for. I'm trying to get an idea of when and where the deals might be the best.

If you're targeting the inner loop, look at 77021. About 43% of single family sales pending are foreclosures. Ugliest inner city zip there is. The inner loop average is 10%.

Btw, for all you people who think that the wealthy are getting hit hard too because they just can't bring themselves to control their spending, 77401 (Bellaire) and 77005 (West U) are <1%, per HAR.

For a complete Harris County dataset by zip code, I charge $500. For each additional county, add $150. Thematic mapping can be done for additional $150; you specify the area and parameters. PM me if interested.
