Sorry they look a bit "overprocessed." It was an overcast, gray day. They were a bit bland so I punched them up a bit.

Glad you started this topic of Houston Rail Yards.

You mentioned Englewood above. I recall driving along side of it as a kid of 8 years. Liberty Road and Wallisville Road. It was so mysterious to us since we lived just blocks away. What I call the land that time forgot. Happily moved away in 69.

I had told briefly of the constant threat of explosions as we were evacuated at least once that I recall due to a chemical leak of some kind. It was all over with by morning but a few years later in 1974, it was another story. We felt the windows rattle as far as Near East End. All the kids were talking about it at school and it was in all the news for days.
