The Great Hizzy!
Rick Adelman's going to have a lot of work to do getting everyone enough touches. On paper, the Rockets have a lot of quality depth now and a serious logjam at the guard positions.
Trae
If they are winning, everyone will be happy. Look at their depth:James/Alston/BrooksT-Mac/Francis/HeadBattier/Bonzi/SnyderScola/Hayes/LandryYao/Deke/ButlerAmazing... I would trade Alston though. We could get a good second round pick for him. Deut28Thirteen
I just read about it in USA Today about 5 min ago. This is great news, now I really cant wait tell next season!! Just hope he and Bonzi don't act like jackass'.
gwilson
I know Mike is really happy to be back in town (and his wife is even happier). I'm sure Steve will be as well.

That means now that you have Francis PG, T-Mac SG, Battier SF, Scola PF, and Yao Center, plus all that depth you mentioned on the bench. Man, that's wild! Trae
No, Mike James will start. There is no way he goes in at backup.

This is what The Chron said about Francis coming back to Houston.
TJones
So, we got the "BallHawg" back in the line-up, I am actually glad to see him, but wonder if he learned anything while he was gone?

Trae
MJ was a ball hog...count the rings. Robert Horry? He was a role player. I'll give you Tim Duncan though.

I'll give you Tim Duncan though.I wouldn't call MJ even CLOSE to being a BallHawg. If I have Wilt Chamberlin, Hakeem Olajuwon, Majic Johnson, Larry Bird, and MJ, on the same team, one of those other guys BETTER dish it to Michael for the shot or they are gonna be riding the BENCH !btw..we are talking about each player in his PRIME also. T 2 THA C
Francis did avg 6.4 APG during his time here in Houston w/out the caliber of players the Rockets have now - YAO who was a rookie & Soph. I was watching video of Francis and think that his penetration skills will help very much. Hopefully as stated above he can coexist with the rest of the Rockets and realize this is YAO and T-macs team. Its funny because I always wondered if there was a chance he would ever play for the Rockets again.

TJones
that guy sure looks happy I agree, he looks happy, but he looks like he's aged 15 years since last time he was here. Welcome Home Stevie !
Trae
He went through hell (Orlando and NY Knicks) and back, so yeah, he looks like he has aged a bit. Just three years ago, he was crossing over people in the Toyota Center.
