Raise scholarship money to help deserving students pursue a collegedegree in journalism and communications careers. 2. Advance and be an advocate for Hispanics in journalism and communicationscareers. 3. Encourage and support professional development of members. 4. To help provide fair and accurate media coverage of the Hispanic Community. Happy to report the event was a great success! Many notables of local media were present. Lifetime Achievement awards were handed out to local Advertising Agency Lopez-Negrete & and Telemundo anchor Maria Antonieta Colins. Silent Auction was fantastic! Univision's Martin Berlanga will be will be this year's keynote speaker.
