texas911
Its better than a trailer home. And better than some of the junk the low end buildes are building.
TAK
modular housing already exists in the US, but usually as one-offs and for people who have a property with limited restrictions, etc...I could see this in CA, VA, DC, NYC, Boston... places where land is scarce and home prices are nowhere in line with incomes... Fairfax County, VA has housing subsidies for families with six figure incomes... you don't think a neighborhood of IKEA homes would be welcomed - not specifically IKEA, but the idea of housing that people with jobs (as opposed to "public servants" who somehow make millions) can afford? Houston1stWordOnTheMoon
Very unattractive designs.
TAK
Very unattractive designs.I agree, as I did not find their designs attractive, either. Having said that, I'm pretty sure they do market studies and come up with something 'attractive' for their target market. There are attractive module designs.
