They jacked the crane this weekend, it is ~6 segments taller.

Given the (as usual) heinous traffic of people going to the Galleria to shop for gifts that I fight every night to get home... not to mention the remodel / new openings / new hotel / new potential resi component nearby / 1M+ sqft of office space going up... I think we're ok. ;-)

2013 12 11: Not the best photo, but the main parking deck is done and they are starting the first floor of wood framing (left side - this is looking north). Stairwell is also built.

2013 12 11: I don't know anything about foundation construction, but I'm guessing someone screwed up and they had to rebuild the boring crane (which had been completely disassembled and removed from the site) to do a few more drills. Wah wah.

I'll be careful how I describe this location as there are SO MANY banks in this area that it gets confusing (and a bit hysterical). This is along the north side of San Felipe and just east of Garrettson Lane (I got the address by clicking "What is here?" on google maps [to no avail], so it may be inaccurate).
Uptown Oaks: 34-Story Senior Living High-Rise At 4718 San Felipe St.
Anyway, chain link fence around the site, digging in the back away from San Felipe... it kind of looks like utility work, but I didn't have my binoculars when I was in Panera. The bank has been closed for the past three years... anyone know what's going on?

Is it possible that AT&T is taking the San Felipe side while the bank is taking the Post Oak entrance? I noticed the sign... very strange.

This is pretty slick. The Astoria looks a little large to me (2nd row of photos, right hand side). I believe it is only 4 stories higher than the Astoria, though that is just a nit-pick. Nice effort!

The one south of Woodway is going sloooooooooooooooooow. I'll wander by this weekend and get an update shot. From the window here though, it looks like it has not progressed beyond the first level.
