  2. So they're going to pay for that location when the city has already provided them land in downtown? Logistics aside, the politics of that location are horrible. It looks like racial segregation on a city wide level. Way to turn off the non-soccer fans with naked avarice. At first I thought management were just cheap suits but this just gross media flexing. The cost of this "phony" press could have gone towards the design fee of the downtown location. If it ever gets built we'll probably get another mediocre public space of gyp-board-bonanza proportions. /Rant
  3. When the blue freeway sign changes, then it's transition will be complete. Those canvas signs are permanent.
  4. The glass has low iron content, yeilding a clearer "ungreened" glazing.
  5. This is a smart move, a lateral move, but still a good long term demographics play.
  6. Bleh, another design by committee and yet another redesign in ~20 years. This should have been an international design competition.
  7. How is privatizing a public building a good idea in this case?
