No connection, other than I live down the street (Dunlap) and have admired this house since we moved in last year. Plus, it reinforces the value of mine to some degree, so i suppose there is that "rooting interest".

Pretty Cool, no? The pics are lame, but the virtual tour shows the outside, which is cool. It sits across Braeswood from the bayou, so there's that.

My wife and I bought the house on Dunlap. I'm an old window freak, and I love the ones in the house, first time I've seen some like it. We just moved from a 1955 house in Austin that sported 9- 7'X6' windows that cranked out (not the whole window). I've been lurking this site for housing options for 3 months or so now. Glad to see that H-town is (deservedly) proud of its' rich architectural gems. And the prices are pretty nice, as well. We would have spent probably 50% more in Austin to be in as cool a house zoned to a good school.
