Great games out at Reliant Stadium tonight. Over 68,000 in attendance, Honduras beats Cuba 5-0, two Cuban players defected before the game and one is probably somewhere in Houston, Mexico beats Panama 1-0, though Panama hit the post twice.

The U.S.' next game is Saturday afternoon from Foxborough, Mass. They're on a scoring rampage, undefeated with Bradley as coach so far, outscoring their opponents 7-0 while not conceding a goal, and Houston's Ching scored in the T&T game.

Mexico will be playing on Sunday afternoon again at Reliant. All games from now on are elimination games.

The champs will be crowned a week from Sunday

Just announced earlier today, Pat Onstad will join Dwayne De Rosario representing Canada against Costa Rica tommorow. Also, reppin' the US, Ricardo Clark and Brian Ching. H-Town all up in this one. As the first game's going on, Dynamo have their first ESPN2 match of the season against Colorado, so there'll be lots of replacements to go around.

In terms of the schedule, including the ones at Reliant Stadium, and the US games:

Dynamo 2-1 over FC Dallas today...It was a great game to go to, if you didn't mind a little sun and heat. Coming from behind is a good sign, especially considering we came back without DeRosario in the lineup. After Onstad was sent off with something around 20 minutes to go, it was good to see the Dynamo hold on to the win down a man. Maybe we can start to build some momentum and get back on the winning side of the ball again...

Onstad got deservingly sent off (tackling the daylights out of an FC Dallas dude about to score), but that tackle saved the game. Very professional red card, I must say. If U do it, do it right

I would scratch San Jose. It's too close to the bay. Besides, what would you call them, the San Jose Silicon Chips? lol! I don't know about Columbus or Louisville either.

But look at Butler and Odom. They're very good starting players with star potential if not already. Battier, Alston and Howard are nothing close to being on the same level as those guys. They'll never make an all-star team.

None of the five players mentioned in your post are likely to make an all-star game anytime soon. I think Battier's better than Butler or Odom when it comes to overall game, but I think Odom's the best role-player.

Either way, I think the Rockets will finally be a high scoring team with this current roster and Adelman as coach. The Rockets would be foolish to trade McGrady or Yao Ming. If they wanted to bring in another star or two to go along with them, it wouldn't hurt the Rockets at all.

As far as the Lakers are concerned, it doesn't matter if they trade Bryant for an all-star or more supporting cast; they'll still have to rebuild because they built their team around Kobe.

But Kobe still has at least three or four more years of dominance in him. Shaq was already past his peak and on the decline. That's the difference I see in the two.

The way I see it, Shaq won a title after leaving LA, and Kobe hasn't made it past the 1st round yet.

But Shaq was traded for Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, Brian Grant, and a 1st round pick. There'd be nothing wrong with giving up our 1st rounder in the deal giving up Battier, Alston, and Howard IMO either.

And I could see the Lakers doing that, too. There's some good free-agents out there this year, and by not having Bryant's contract anymore, they could sign Vince Carter or Chauncey Billups if they wanted, and have a decent overall lineup to start their rebuilding from.

I think there's no way the Lakers would do that DJ, IMO. Tracy must be part of the deal. However, 610 guys were saying that the Lakers probably wouldn't even want Tracy. I agree. He's injury prone, and I don't know if any of our other guys look appealing either, especially after these past playoffs. The only hope we have is to give up a first rounder.

Why not trade for Kobe AND keep McGrady and Yao Ming? Alston, Howard, and Battier for Kobe would be an even trade, then if they wanted, they could still try to sign free-agent forward Rashard Lewis

I graduated on Saturday, and its time to move on. I'll be working in Corsicana for a few weeks until I go on Vacation. A week after that, I move to Abilene. Its been beautiful Houston! I can't wait to come back & visit!!!

I say trade Battier for a scorer. Sure he's good on defense, one of the best, but he's an offensive liability. He reminds me of Adam Everett for the Astros and look what's finally happening to his playing time.

I disagree. I think Battier is a great all-around player, and has a great outside-shooting presense. He's probably the 2nd most consistant player on the Rockets other than Yao Ming.

I say we keep the big three, and see if we could pick up another big-name signing. The Rockets need depth, especially on the bench. Some of their occasional starters (Alston, Head, Howard, Mutombo when Yao was injured) would be great players to come off the bench. Let's see what they do, and I hope Battier stays because I don't see any reason why he should leave.

The guy is an unrestricted free-agent. He can go anywhere he wants.

Can U imagine if we had Yao Ming, Battier, Rashad Lewis, McGrady, and either Head or Alston starting? That'd be a lethal high-scoring bunch. They already have the defense down; high scoring was pretty rare for the Rockets this season, and Adelman's known to be a score-driven coach

There's no current 2007 thread, and I thought it's too early to start one since the playoffs are still going on, but still, Alief's own Rashad Lewis is gonna be a free-agent. What are the odds of him possibly coming back to his hometown H-Town without losing any of our main three? (Yao, McGrady, Battier)

I wonder if the ratings for TheView will go up or down after Rosie leaves. Since she went on that show, TheView would end up on the national news every other week it seemed because of it's "controversial" statements from her on the show. That's a lot of free PR.

That would make perfect sense. The island story supposedly took place (timeline wise) in Fall-Winter 2004. The fast forwards would probably be present day. Supposedly, they were supposed to be rescued on Christmas (that's what I gathered from Charlie's flashbacks), so that would make good sense that it stayed on track.

According to TMZ Rosie is a "Raging Bull" right now with nothing to lose.

I think Arlington will, because for the time being, the Cowboys will have the largest NFL venue to play in. Also, I think Indy will host either in 2012 or 2013.

It's gonna take a political miracle for Houston to host again next decade. Arlington built a newer stadium in Texas, the smaller clubs don't like McNair, and there's new stadiums being built or are built in Glendale, Indy, and possibly LA and Minnesota as well. Doesn't matter how well the cities themselves throw the party. Arlington's biggest problem will be the fact that they current don't have public transportation, but I think that will change prior to 2011.

I think the twist ending was the biggest twist ever on Lost, and changed the show format itself completely. The last three seasons were about how to leave the island. Maybe the last three seasons will be about how they (or some of them) get back on the island.

We can assume that Walt (and maybe his father) and Locke are both working together on the island to rebuild Ben's camp but not as hostile. Locke's working for Jacob now. Remember Walt's quote, "We have work to do". (My favorite twist of this episode)

Hurley obviously will be a major part of the next season, since his mystery (one of the biggest on the show) was never revealed yet; what do his lottery numbers mean.

Who was Naomi and what was her boat? If Ben was wrong saying she's not who we think she is, what was up with Charlie's last words, and what made it significant that it wasn't Penny's boat? And why did Charlie die when he could have survived with the scuba gear? That didn't make sense at all.

And after they leave the island, wussup with Jack not being able to die? Drugs, alcohol, a suicide attempt, a car almost crashing into him and him not caring, etc. And he hates being called a hero. Probably because him being a hero got them off the island.

And wussup with Kate's life that makes her so happy and Jack want to go back? I'm assuming that either she's with Sawyer, or there's gonna be another twist with who she's with.

Either way, you can tell that from now on, we'll learn the rest of the secrets of the island from outside the island. It's gonna be a total 180 now between the flashbacks and the island

It looks like the Nashville Predators are being sold to a Canadian billionaire. It's not clear yet if there's a planned move for the team yet seeing that they're not having hot ticket sales. If they do announce they'd be looking at a possible move, I'm guessing you'll hear a few Canadian cities on the top of the list, and possibly Houston, Kansas City, and Las Vegas again mentioned.

I still think that the only way NHL were to come to Houston anytime soon would be if Alexander bought a team and moved them to Toyota.
