Living up North (some might consider it no-mans-land), I've passed this building durring all stages of it's construction when going to and from Houston. My reaction at first was "What's this?" and it stayed fairly constant by what was being done. Now that it's done (and been so for a while now) I've been trying to figure out, just what exactly is La Luz Del Mundo (honstly Thursday was the first day I was able to read the name on the building)??? Can't stop in and ask, most places close at 6pm or so and it was usually MUCH later than that when I'd drive by. I'm glad I found this page and found out that it is indead a church. As far the the architecture goes (since this is HAIF), I find it very facinating especially now knowing that it's a Spanish church, Greek I would have figured. It deffently makes you take notice...especially considering the surrounding area. At some point and time I'd like to stop and take a better look at it because of it's interesting architecture.
