maybe i'm imagining things or that 1% is a tough fkn sale!
-
No, it should be south of Memorial along the west side of Eldridge, between the existing southernmost tower and the Bank of America drive-thru.
seems dumb - havent those 2 on the corner had SPACE AVAILABLE signs for the last year? maybe they are just old and really shitty inside?
-
smart tactic by the rd team: name the units after the richest people in the world. word will spread, egos will be boosted, and maybe some celebrity pre-sales will be spurred
-
Well, their view may be obstructed (not sure what view exactly), but I would much rather view the Titan any day over the McDonalds!
the south view looking back down post oak and at transco.
id rather look over mcd's than INTO the titan. although you might see some interesting parties on those penthouse corner pools
-
anyone going to the Mosaic ULI event this wed? got some email about it last wk
-
poor 1200 post oak residents. i was at a party there recently and was getting a nice look at the titan lot, their view will be demolished soon!
-
I received the sales packet in the mail today, and it was full of the floorplans for the units. There are 21 different ones to choose from, it appears. A special letter was also included, mentioning that pricing & contract executions would occur around May and construction should begin by July. Also, the website should be updated and a promotional video should be online within the next 15 days.
As is standard with the other Randall Davis properties, there is a cocktail party scheduled for March 5th in the Cosmopolitan (across the street from the Titan's sales office) where their reps will be showing off amenities and attempting to sell units.
open to public? or by invite only?
so with your dates mentioned in mind... did we ever figure out what the "2.08" on the ads meant? i guess thats just the "more info will be released on" date LOL
-
how do i get there? does it have an address?"
-
who the hell is gonna buy those townhouses? the frames are already up, if the project stays at this rate, move in date will be just in time for 1.5 more years of construction all around you.
the street they face is highly trafficed now...just imagine when the 5-7+ more buildings get finished.
maybe im crazy but i never imagined my $500k+ townhouse being positioned between 2 huge shopping centers and a row of restaurants, bordered by the 2 biggest landing strip freeways in texas. with only 5 friends beside you to share in the misery

--like NYC's riverside park???
does that mean Houston will have its very own LOPPER?
-
same ad in chronicle today as every week except they added one line of text:
"$700,000 - 3,700,000"
-
any word on maintenance fees? what are cosmo's?I took a couple of snapshots around the Galleria area, including where The Titan will be. They didn't let you take a picture of the model, though. One of the sales person stated that the starting price will about $420k, but this is subject to go up. Apparently, costs have gone up around 8% since they started the last tower (Cosmo). Just posting one picture, due to space limit, for this development (just to show the current setting/for the "before"). -
Ciro's
the real one that was at 10 and Campbell.
new one in m.city is just not the same :/

This project is too new to give any specific details. I was just wondering if anyone here has heard anything about it. I probably should have kept this under wraps but it is sounding like a pretty high profile job. Even bigger that the W project imo.
well, now we're all curious
who is your little birdy??

k so this reply looks a little out of place now ^^ it was its own thread but got moved. will do some reading in this thread now

came across some pretty cool townhomes in this area. reasonable prices (uh oh) and some amazing views of downtown. proximity to dt/md/galleria is great, design/builder check out, the real concern is the stigma and future of the neighborhood. im really not familar at all with the area or the changes its going through. all i know is that growing up in houston, anything WARD means watch out. so tell me...is that still the case?
-
Just drove by...probably huge repost but of the logos on the banner, Hotel Valencia was one. Hadnt seen that before, I'd say thats a pretty big deal and testament to the market they are shooting for with this project.

You apparently haven't any preconceived notions of what uber-wealthy socialite trophy wives are expected to talk or act like.
LOL. Touche. and I might venture to say I'm proud of that

Post Oak Blvd. The Boulevard.
Haha ok.
I've been in Houston 22 years and never heard it called that. Unless you are being sarcastic.
My main pt was that everything was written syntactically awkward
-
re: that list of phrases
there was no preface, just.. here are some poorly-worded, random facts
on the boulevard? what does that even mean.. that its on a street? isnt every building? that its in the middle of everything? most would assume a trendy highrise doesnt go in the burbs.
competition over? why didnt they just put 'i am legend'

Who knows what the February 08 date stands for on their website? Is it the day they're gonna start selling the units or the ground breaking?
wondered that as well...
maybe ambiguity brings in high net worth clients??
-
Just a fyi, there is a full page advertisment in this weeks Time Magazine for Titan. Randall Davis has gone national with this one.
+$10/sqft to the buyers
-
Wow, not crazy at all about the big beige block that is the parking garage at the bottom. I would have hoped that they would have integrated it more, perhaps using some of the glass or something!
oh wow, are they really keeping it like that?
-
i was invited to go check out this building and the two penthouse units at top are amazing! from what i hear they are both sold already. whoever has those penthouse units will have a great view.
one of the penthouse units has balconies on both sides that are probably about 2,000sq ft. one of the things i didn't care for was how the pool was placed, but overall once it's done i'm sure it'll be a nice feature. i took some pics of the finished rooms, i'll post up later when i get a chance.
Please post those photos!
