This coming from a person who posts about the travesty of discrimination in other threads. Here's a new term for you to learn: Hypocrisy is the act of pretending to have morals or virtues that one does not truly possess or practice. The word derives from the late Latin hypocrisis and Greek hupokrisis both meaning play-acting or pretence. The word is arguably derived from hypo- meaning under, + krinein meaning to decide/to dispute.[citation needed] A classic example of a hypocritical act is to criticize others for carrying out some action while carrying out the same action oneself. Some people believe that most people, if not all, are hypocrites; they tend to criticize what they perceive to be bad behaviour in others, yet will justify it when they are inclined to perform the same action. This form of hypocrisy is closely related to the fundamental attribution error, a well-studied phenomenon of human psychology: individuals are more likely to explain their own actions by their environment, yet they attribute the actions of others to 'innate characteristics', thus leading towards judging others while justifying ones' own actions. Hypocrisy is a relative term, and its meaning depends on ones' moral beliefs. For instance, moral relativists often see moral absolutists as hypocrites when they follow the detail of certain prescribed moral codes while neglecting to follow the underlying ideas behind these moral codes. Similarly, absolutists view relative morality as inherently hypocritical because the rules are not always to be adhered to absolutely. In simple terms the pot calling the kettle black!!!! -

Not saying carry Vince off the field on their shoulders, I said not bad. I give this game ball to the Tenn D and Special Teams. Carr, I don't know what to think. He came out like a walk-on rookie in his first game. Didn't see any flashes of the guy who showed up last week. Maybe he has the flu. Williams had his best game of his career 4 tackles one sack Anybody watch the Colts-Denver game. They said this was Indy's first test. Well I think they passed. Denver had given up only 2 TD's all season. They gave up 3 TD's tonight and get this Manning 32/39 345 yds 3 TD's 0 Int's, Unbelievable, against one of the best defenses in the league. If their Defense ever catches up with their offense, the league is in trouble. Romo is looking pretty fair, still getting his sea legs. Romo 24/36 270yds 1TD 1 Int

Yep Young Produced 14 points! V. Young 4 carries - 44 yds - 1 TD and Passed 7/15 - 87 yds - 1 - TD Not sure what qualifies as a good game by some peoples standards but that's not bad. I wouldn't be so sure Carr starts, Kubiak may have seen enough.

Did anyone see that bad call in the 4th quarter on the reception to Bennett. Really has no bearing on the game other than momentum killer, but that Ref needs to retire. The replay was so plain it's pathetic. I can't believe Fisher didnt blow a gasket. Carr killed his game with the FUBAR with 8 seconds left in the half. Mistakes like that Kubiak will not tolerate. Rosenfeld came in and make a good effort. Didn't Young Pass for one TD and run for another? I think he looked pretty good. Future looks good for him.

What you want to bet Jason is not the kid screwing up your prints at the local Wal-Mart. If I had to guess a photographer or perhaps a cinematographer, and not just that but one or the other with a BA or BFA in Photography and Digital Imaging! Great eye for his art none the less. -
If I had to guess, I will bet that there is "specific" wording in the Big Tuna's contract preventing it. I will be will to bet there is a hands off no interference clause in there. And if Jerry pulled a Jerry, Tuna could walk away with all his Oreos. Jerry may want to so bad he can taste it. No the Tuna is at wits end with Bledsoe, he was back in the Meadow-lands, his old house, and was getting his arse handed to him and was desperate. It didn't help and he took a beating. Jerry is furious because he's a football fan, he's an old jock with an ego. He hates to lose. My Grandmother use to get more furious than he was. I literally thought she was going to have a heart attack in front of the TV. Every Sunday, Pot Roast, Home Made Ice Cream and the Cowboys on TV. I mean from the days in the Cotton Bowl until she died in 1996 103 yrs old. She Screamed at that TV, for over 30 years. There are people that passionate about it. ........Anyway, Tuna never has good luck back in the Meadow-lands. Kinda like Napoleon Bonaparte returning to Waterloo.

And you left out Johnny U, shame on you. The last real General they had to wear the horse shoe helmet! Peyton was awesome. He always hates being compared to his Dad but I got news for anyone who does, Archie was a good player and all, but he can't carry his boy's jockstrap, period. And that little LSU RB they picked up is a heck of a runner.

That I forgot to mention. Perhaps Kube will give him more lee way with audibles once they get more comfortable. Speaking of audibles, did you watch Peyton take the Redskins apart in the second have, talk about a field general, jeez that was scary bad-ass. Carr really looked that way yesterday, definitely a lot more confident.

Why don't you just say it like it is. They played the best game they've ever played since day one. They executed their game plan, established a running game, (I was really impressed with that), and they kept Carr off his back. They forced two fumbles and converted them both to touchdowns. It's not the road to the Superbowl yet, but if they play like that every Sunday they can beat anyone. A+ on this report card. I was very skeptical and still waiting to see if this is a trend or a blip, time will tell. Semi-semi-semipro just man up and say you were wrong. It only smarts for a minute. Believe me I have been eating crow pie all day. It's not too bad with hot sauce.

Discovery Channel HD had a special on Extreme Engineering that showed the build of that stadium. That place is a real piece of work. The retractable field is a phenomenal feat.

Now the Astrodome that was really something. I remember the first time I set foot in there in 1965, I was in awe. It was unlike anything I or anyone I knew had ever seen before. It was three days after my birthday and the tickets were a gift from my grandfather. It was like time had stopped for a few hours. This was state of the art for it's time. It had a natural grass playing field, it was nice and cool inside. Just out of this world for me at that time. I can still see the Phillies at bat and the Astros taking the field. Jimmy Wynn trotting out to center and Joe Morgan playing second. Man that was something. Never will ever forget the "Dome". the 'stros lost two-zip that day but it was a great time for me.

While other stadiums had previously been built with removable tops, a la Montreal's Olympic Stadium, the Skydome was the first to have a fully retractable roof. The roof consists of four steel panels and it moves along rails at a rate of 71 feet (21 meters) per minute and takes 20 minutes to open or close. When closing the roof, 72 motors are used to move the two panels backward and forward over a fixed panel like a telescope and a fourth panel rotates 180 degrees to completely close the roof. or Bank One Ballpark, Phoenix -- Home to the Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball, Bank One Ballpark, or "the BOB," opened in 1998. In the searing heat of the Arizona desert, it was almost a necessity to have a ballpark that could be open during moderate days and closed and air-conditioned on hot summer days. Bank One's roof uses a system similar to a drawbridge. A pair of 200 horsepower motors drive the roof panels to open and close in just four minutes using four miles of cable strung through a pulley system. or Safeco Field, Seattle -- Opened in 1999, baseball's Mariners said good-bye to the Kingdome and moved to Safeco. Safeco's roof is divided into three independent panels made of a thin gypsum and glass fiber board. A waterproof skin covers the panels. The three panels are staggered so that the roof can slide completely away from the field of play. The panels roll on motorized steel wheels that move over steel rails. The wheels are powered by 96 10-horsepower, DC motors. Power is provided by long cables that are reeled in and out as the roof slides open and shut. Opening and closing the roof is done at a rate of 30 feet (9.1 m) per minute and takes about 10 to 20 minutes. Just about every stadium being built these days are with a retractable roof on it. Just makes more sense and takes any weather element out the way. Reliant was a long way from setting any precedence itself. Cowboys will open a new stadium in August 2009. When built, the stadium will have 75,000 seats and a retractable roof. It will feature open end zones linked to fan decks that will increase seating capacity to 100,000, making it the highest capacity domed stadium in the world in this configuration.

It basically was two severely struggling teams facing off against each other and one had to lose, could have gone either way. Mario's sack and a half was the defensive highlight, but that was the only tackies he made all game. He has got to get some backside pursuit, to improve his game. Houston did have 5 total sacks which was a great improvement, however the Miami OL is about in the same shape as is Houston's, but at least they were looking very active today. If anything it with boost some confidence and motivate the team some. Honestly the bye week is bad timing, their momentum could carry them next week, but will most likely die off with the bye week off. We'll have to wait and see. First three quarters were a snoozer from both sides.

Anybody watch Inside the NFL on HBO this week, interesting comments on Mario Williams on there. And what in the hell is going on with T.O. up in Dallas? Suicide, no suicide, accidental overdose on anti-depressants and pain killers, just pain killers, nothing at all, the story is so scattered it's amazing. And his publicist is an idiot, and only makes things worst with her statements. Jeez can we just play football?
