  1. I would definetely think commuter rail is and will be benefit the Houston Area if conceived in the next five years or in the future. Anything that helps the public or even ourselves to have more options to go to our destinations such as Galveston Beach, The Medical Center or Uptown is going to not only set our city as a world class city but to have cleaner air and be more environmental friendlier.

  2. Is the A & M program a technical design/engineering degree or a policy-making admin sort of program? When I was in school it was policy-driven along the lines of an applied poly sci/business combo degree, and the technical side was the industrial/civic engineering stuff. Curious. If I had to do it all over again, urban planning (policy)with a law degree topper would sound really interesting.

In any event, it's ultimately about spending other people's money on a very large scale. Do you want to build stuff, or decide what gets built?

I think I want to build the stuff, you know I have seen drawing of what I have google 'urban design' and it seems very appealing to me. I am doing the bachelor's program at A&M it's a new major that just started last year.

  3. Well the guy or girl not sure? lol started this threat and he also said he was involved in the engineering work of this project and that they will build a Cheddar's Restaurant so I believe him and besides I went to ask and since I speak spanish and workers in there did tell me the truth and said it was a Cheddar's (this actually happened early this week.)

  4. Yes it is. I did the engineering plans for both of these sites.

Hey Scott are you 100% sure...because if you are then I'll be there pretty much everyday I live in Parkway West the neighborhood right behind that development...are there any site plans or a website for this...who is the developer..when is chedddar's coming in? thank you!

  5. I like the place as well. I understand that first impressions are the most important. Sorry you had a poor experience. Service is your typicall Katy High School student. Off topic, but I wonder why we have so many teenagers servicing in these joints who have zero manners. Do they not know that service is part of the job ?

Anyway, the fish tacos keep me coming back - both fried and grilled. If you like it spicy, get the grilled. I don't mind getting my own drink or chips.

By the way, is the "Sweet and Spicy" place still around ? Do all of you like it ?

Do you know that many of those katy high school students as u call them...are having their first job and don't really know what to do?...I mean dude just go back into ur life and remember ur first job..did u do a good job?....probably not..Let them work and save their money to buy their own stuff. Thank you.

  6. The Grand in West Houston. This area is booming with master-planned communities such as Cinco Ranch, Williamsburg, Bridgewater, and the Grand Lakes. The Grand is located at the intersection of the Grand Parkway and I-10. You could build it around the new JC Penney, la Madeleine is already opened and is doing very well. Just think about being in the most affluent side of Houston.

  7. That is totally not true, Trae!~ Because if that was the reason then the new mall would be in the southwest intersection of the grandparkway and katy freeway, instead of being on the northeast side. Even though Katy Mills is right next to that land, it wouldn't compete with the high-end shops of the mall. What do you think?...again this is just my opinion. (Besides, there is a piece of land the same size or even bigger than the Gardens Westgren Shopping Center is on the Southeast corner of the Katy Freeway and Westgreen Boulevard).
