It was very busy last night........ Walked in front of it in my way back home from Stadia @ Town Center. The new Dairy Queen should be opening soon.

I am in Chicago and thinking about LOVETT homes on a Friday night; It SUCKS!. Just ate some deep dish pizza AND saw a guy that BUILDS sand castles even with CRAPPY weather like today. Can't wait to see back some Houston HOUSES.

I heard that the Arby's at the Pearland Town Center has closed. Supposedly there is a sign on the door. Can anyone confirm this?

Never tried it....... But wouldn't be surprised since business always seemed slow there.

I still have hope....... They should at least move a bit quicker with the Presidential Park; I understand they have all the sculptures ready so I think having all of them in place will help them attract more businesses in.

Do I need to protect my pool pump gear and stuff? Maybe it is best to keep the installation running?

Keep it running. Mine has a system that starts the pump as soon as air temp hits 36 no matter what the water temp is.

Iowa messed my back to back bottom place. I did my best.

I checked last weekend and Broadway is not open to Almeda Rd. yet. I believe the opening is still being delayed by the issue with the railroad (which seems nonsensical to me).

I understand the railroad issue was solved and they were moving forward with the completion of the final connection to 521. It should be completed soon. Will try to drive around this weekend to see if they are doing any work.

I heard from a fairly reliable source that a new gas station (reputed to be Shell) is going to be built in the southwest corner of the intersection of Broadway and Kingsley Dr. (Co. Rd 48) on Pearland's far west side. No ETA on when it will be finished; the area is still in the land-clearing stage. Supposedly, this gas station is only part of the infrastructure that is planned for that location; other stuff will be located there too.

If this station does appear, I hope it has a car wash out back! I'm tired of the overcrowded wash down at the HEB.
