Those are the same people that still thought a Sprouts was going in, even though I posted a link to this HAIF topic every single time someone posted about it over the last three years.

Even in the post you referenced there was still a “I thought this was going to be a Sprouts?” comment.

Every. Damn. Time. It's not going to be a Sprouts people.

I will try to give people the benefit of the doubt that it's more a symptom of the neighborhood needs a better grocery store than Polk Kroger.

  2. Stopped by Teaspresso this AM. Still in their soft opening. If you've been to the Heights location, then you'll be familiar with the vibe and menu. A little expensive for boba imo (a boba with one topping and a 18% tip ran me $7), but it's good.

The person I spoke to, who I believe is one of the owners, lives closeby in the neighborhood, so grab some boba and support local!

There doesn't seem to be much overlap from the list which was found/shared a few months back.  Here is what I can see from HEEC photo.  It's not all readable:

#5 - If it's Watershed, might be a second location of this spot: https://www.watershedhtx.com/

#2 - Interesting that the Astorian is trying to build another space. The one near the Target on Sawyer is beautiful but like right next to that Target. Maybe this space will have a nice view of the Bayou/ Downtown.

The last 30 seconds they talk about potentially adding residential and/or office developments on the surface lot spaces, and more connections to the bayou/city in the future.

I also noticed this on a Facebook ad. Hoping 713 Music Hall isn’t the official name, but saw there are 5 other concerts scheduled in addition to the 2 Rufus shows.

I'm pretty sure 713 Music Hall is the official name.

IMO this is great. Better than tearing down a charming home.

Well, the permit was specifically for the building at 4210 Canal, which was the building that used to house the skate shop. It definitely looks more retail, so I was surprised to see the company on the permit managed Airbnbs.

The house behind this building is currently under renovations as well.
