I hope they don't plan on demolishing the three towers.

    From the article:

Regarding Post Oak Central, Freels said, “We see incredible potential in the iconic property. This deal activates and accelerates our plans, and we look forward to reimagining Post Oak Central for the next generation.”

It’s the buildings that make the property iconic. Without them it’s just valuable.

Edited to add: If they do tear them down, I’m never coming back to Houston.

"Not one, but two art projects are beautifying the community neighboring George Bush Intercontinental Airport in 2023. A 5-ton sculpture of President John F. Kennedy will be installed on John F. Kennedy Boulevard near the airport's southern entrance in East Aldine this month.

Oh great. Another giant Mold-A-Rama “sculpture” (https://moldville.arcade-museum.com/45--humble-oil-building.html)  from David Adickes. I know this is simply my opinion and apparently not held by most, but his stuff is an embarrassment to Houston.

In the portion pertaining to Auden, Eater Houston wrote this:

The 150-seat restaurant is a labor of love...and will feature floor-to-ceiling windows with prime views of Buffalo Bayou Park.

Auden is located in Hanover Parkview on the ground level. Where it's situated, the restaurant won't have prime views of Buffalo Bayou Park.

Here is the map of the Autry Park mixed use development. It shows where Auden is located.

Someone heard you because the text has been changed to:  The 150-seat restaurant will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and is slated to be on the ground-floor level with a patio area, offering plenty of people-watching opportunities.

It has been an inordinate amount of time for this project to come together. And if you look at some of the earlier images from DC Partners it won't be nearly as impressive as they were originally planning. There were going to be four towers, and a pedestrian bridge to access the Bayou Park. These people worked with Randall Davis too often.

Did I miss something? I thought this was just the first phase and the other towers would follow at some point.
I also think the tower, as seen in cityliving’s photo below, is a lot nicer than I expected when the revised version was first announced. Except for that asymmetric balcony thing.

Your pics do not scream new at this 👏🏼

Mind if I ask the drone that you use?

I’m still relatively new with the drone part. Not so new with the photographing and post-processing part.

DJI Mavic Air 2. I chose it because at the time it had (I think) the highest camera resolution (48 megapixels) for the money AND the drone is smart enough to prevent me from crashing or losing it. The Mavic Air 3 has a better camera and probably more bells and whistles, but it’s also pricier.

Kamrath in particular was heavily influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright's brand of modernism. I can definitely see the inspiration in form, to other Frank Lloyd Wright's works (the capitals on those tall pilasters is a dead give-away).

My first thought was FLW. It sort of has a Robie House meets Meyerland après déluge look to it.
