has anybody here ever had the balls to pull over on the south 610 bridge over the port and take a picture of all the skylines? everytime i pass over and look towards downtown i am amazed...

i love going with my friends there to play basketball......then we go to James Coney Island afterwards or Popeyes.

for those who are concerened about the wildlife in Alaska being affected by this....i have one question. Are you ever in your lifetime going to go to Alaska and actually spend time there vacationing and looking at the polar bears and other animals? we were put on this world to comsume it. we have to use all of its resources.

i made top 10% but you have to realise that not everyone can afford to go to UT or A&M. UofH gave me a nice big scholarship so the choice was obvious, live at home and still go to a good school that is giving me money

the North Shore area around Uvalde and Woodforest is really diverse. My high school, North Shore Senior high is about -35% hispanic -30% black -25% white -10& asian these are based on my observations. this is the same for most neighborhoods in this area, but recetly whites have been moving out.

man, that park is awesome, i love going there to play basketball with my friends....especially when you "j" them and you see the Chevron Tower and all the skyline in the background.

how can we be proud about these private schools that are only for the geniuses and the rich? i am talking about PUBLIC Universities here, you know, the schools for the middle class.

Do you guys think that the Great State of Texas needs more Tier 1 Public Colleges? We only have two, UT in Austin and A&M in College Station. I read an article a while back and it said that only 3 out of 10 of the largest cities in the country did not have a Tier 1 College, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, all Texas cities. Everyone in my high school wants to go to UT but it is expensive to go live over there and i think that we need more funding for colleges that are in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.

its not like the Spanish version is going to be adopted by the American Government as a new national anthem, let them sing whatever it is they want to sing. I'm an American-Mexican and i prefer English over Spanish but they have their unalienable right to freedom of speech and to sing whatever the hell they want. just my opinion.

daaaaaaaamiit!, good one. nah, im one of the smart kids at North Shore Senior High. TAKS is easy, got commended on all except science last year, by only one damn question. our school is pretty good, in fact i was gonna go to LAMAR high school, but decided on North Shore instead. it was closer to home and the academics were not the best but it wasn't a crappy school either.

you know you live in the Woodlands when the Woodlands High School gets beat by North Shore in the state final! daaaaaaaamiit! NORTH SHORE CLASS OF 06!

i remember about ten years ago when i lived in an partment complex in Magnolia and how it was infested with gangs and drugs. some of my friends died while i was young but it has cleaned up ever since.
