I lived in 505 W. Gray back in 2007 and it was in poor shape. Interiors were stripped of all individuality during landlord special remodels and maintenance was nearly non-existent. So many bugs, mice, and leaks, and insane summer electric bills. At some point since 2007 the back parking was paved - back in the day we had cars regularly get stuck in potholes and dragged out by questionably sober truck bros from the bars in the area. Honestly surprised these buildings lasted as long as they did. I'd really hoped someone would clean them up or redevelop them together, but given the location a tear down was inevitable.
