  1. Looking at his map, it seems that he has the Southeast/Green Line and East End Line going north to the Intermodal Station. The Inner Katy/Yellow Line could swoop north to the Intermodal, too. I wonder if METRO would do this once Phase III rolls around and the Inner Katy/Yellow line is built (got a ways to go until though).
  2. I actually wouldn't mind something like Victory Park in Dallas, or Atlantic Station in Atlanta being built somewhere in Houston's core. The Hardy Rail Yards doesn't come close.
  3. I think the East End Line will be great for that side of town, especially when it turns south and joins up again with the Southeast/Green Line heading into Hobby Airport. That is about ten years away though.
  4. D-Rob is out for the season: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AtUi...p&type=lgns
  5. What three cars look like (almost like a heavy rail system):
  6. Yeah, the way he was acting on the field when he got hurt. I really don't know how long a sprained knee takes to recover though. AJ had a sprained knee...
  7. D-Rob may be out for a while. At least we have this bye week after this game to let him rest.
  8. METRO has predicted that the University Line alone will carry 43,000 per day. We may have over 100,000 in ridership by 2012.
  9. Any chance the University Line's trains can go to three cars? I doubt the trains would run on the Red Line at all, so space may not be an issue.
  10. Hopefully they do something like that. Maybe have it expandable for big games.
  11. I wish it could have made it to ESPN 2 (ESPN was showing the Celtics).
  12. Well, Bloomingdales is apart of the Macy's Corp., so I think putting one in the Galleria could be easy. I am not sure about the Dallas one. And Dillard's looks so isolated from the rest of the mall. Why haven't they got around to connecting the two?
  13. They just need to add some rides over at Space Center Houston.
  14. The Dynamo must not know that rape is illegal. 30,088 were in attendance last night.
  15. I have. They always say it in the news and over on the Chron comments.
  16. Dillard's is already across the street. I think a Bloomingdales would be better.
  17. Wouldn't that block some of the intersections?
  18. Oh wow. I know that is Main Street. I was just saying why do people call it the Main Street Line when it doesn't run just on Main Street AND METRO itself has it labeled as the "Red Line".
  19. Probably has nothing to do with the photos (which were great), but why do people keep calling the Red Line the "Main Street Line". It gets annoying, especially when people keep calling METRO stupid because the "Main Street Line" isn't even on Main Street. The photos of the train station got me thinking about this.
  20. Waller isn't that far at all anymore. People from Hempstead and Prairie View will be coming down to Waller Town Center, too. There are many new neighborhoods starting to spring up in Waller, too.
