  1. I went to John Paul II for a year, and never looked back. That school has some shady business going on. And the Westside Marketplace will be along the vast swarth of land west of Mason Road. It is being developed by Interfin.
  2. There are not many brand new houses being sold for less than 100K in North Katy. It is mostly around the 140K-160K range.
  3. Well, there is Faith West, it goes from Pre-K to 12th grade. The new Catholic High School is going to beat it out in academics, though.
  4. I don't know. Probably not. South Katy is getting close to build out (in Cinco Ranch, not areas around Seven Lakes High School), and the north side hasn't seen more housing than the south. Once the Grand Parkway rolls through, and the Grand, Westside Marketplace come up, the northside of Katy will see a large boom in housing, while the southside cools down. Also, property values will rise even more than they are now. The new Memorial Hermann Medical Complex helped that area out a lot, then all of this new Simon stuff, and that outdoor mall at JC Penney. Then I am pretty sure that new Catholic High School up there helped with property values. It should be all good for North Katy.
  5. There is already low-income housing and apartments (a lot around Taylor and Mayde Creek High Schools), all around Katy, I just don't know why some more would kill everybody. We are not living in the Woodlands here.
  6. I actually don't know. Maybe some of the areas around Katy High School, but there aren't any mid-rise buildings. Unless you call that group of buildings on Highway 6 at IH-10, Downtown Katy.
  7. I don't think low-income housing don't have to be homes in the 80's, like that one neighborhood south of Westheimer and 99, but maybe starting at 100's and ending at 150's. I am just saying let the other parts of Katy development on its own. Like Nottingham, Green Trails, and Kelliwood. They turned out quite nice. Mason Road does not need a make-over. If it is two ugly for Cinco Ranchers to drive through to get past Highland Knolls on their way home, let them use 99 (which needs a flyover ramp both ways).
  8. It's not bad at all. Some low income housing might be nice near Westpark. There is already that neighborhood that Seven Meadows built around. I don't think all of Katy needs to become a Cinco Ranch look-a-like, so leave Mason Road alone. Oh, and that Town and Country thing will be on the north side of IH-10 , it is called the Grand, in Morton Ranch's zone.
  9. There is a planned Pappadeaux planned across from that new Ten Oaks development on Barker Cypress and IH-10. It is on the southside of IH-10 next to the vanpool parking lot.
  10. ^ Well I haven't been out that way in a long time. Glad they planted them, it is needed. They may act as a sound barrier now, but in 20 years, it will look real forested and nice. Can't wait, just 20 more years.
  11. Yeah, Cinco Ranch did good with planting all of those trees, but they need to add more around Katy, so someday, Katy will look forested. I saw the trees under the Grand Parkway at Highland Knolls a while back, so they will probably start planting those soon. Then, it will move on to IH-10.
  12. ^^Didn't see it. Look at this: Before coming to Denver. After coming to Denver. NOTE: LOOK AT HIS MIDSECTION, THE GUY LOST OVER 20 LBS COMMING TO DENVER AND HE LOOKED VERY FIT. Last year during the preseason he was tearing it up as well. If he did not have the Turf-Toe he would be the starter for Denver, so he will be real good for us.
  13. We also have Ron dayne from Denver. He average over five yards a carry with 53 attempts, 270 yards, and one touchdown.
  14. Diverse school that is getting better and better. The Junior High is actually recognized. Also, Morton Ranch will be in the top three fastest growing high schools in Katy I.S.D. from now until 2015. Seven Lakes and Katy High are the others. There are so many housing developments going on around Morton Ranch. I don't know why Katy put Morton Ranch at a 2400 capacity (along with Seven Lakes). Morton Ranch already exceeds it, and Seven Lakes, while about 700 below capacity, won't be that way in two years. It will be larger than Morton Ranch, but MRHS will be 32 in population in the district soon. CincoRHS is pretty much built out.
  15. No we didn't. We kept all four backs. Davis might be cut, though.
  16. Again, Trae Park sounds the best. Simple and easy.
  17. I have seen Morton Ranch during school, and it is pretty crowded. It also smells like ass.
  18. I think a Virgin, Rainforest, and Niketown would be cool. A downtown Bloomingdales with those flashy lights like the one in San Francisco would be cool, too.
  19. I agree. We sure want Downtown to become something huge, like it is now. The Astrodome Convention Center and Hotel shouldn't hurt though. Downtown, to me seems like the overall better location if you look at it. Once the Pavilions gets up, and then the Downtown Park, I wouldn't know why anyone would not choose Downtown over the Dome Hotel. Well, maybe if Downtown was booked solid, then I could see . Also, how big is that Hewlett Packard Convention?
  20. I think there might be an eigth one planned soon in far northern Katy where Bridgelands will be built. Morton Ranch is already at capacity and going to exceed it next year. Not sure about Mayde Creek, and Katy, though. There is a lot of housing going on in that far north section and a new high school would help and the crowded Katy and Morton Ranch High Schools. Also, Cinco ranch, Morton Ranch, and Seven Lakes are exact copies of each other with just a different elevation and school colors.
  21. Yeah, why not, I mean it is only one star away...
