  1. Your an amazing man semipro. On one hand Carr sucks, on the other Young is great and headed to the playoffs, even though he only has one more win than Carr. What's more, he doesn't hold up to Carr statistically.

Let's take a look at the truth.

David Carr's completion ratio is 69.9%

Vince Youngs completion ratio is 49.9%

Also remember that Carr has thrown the ball 341 times versus Young's 141, thus the completion stat becomes a bigger deal.

David Carr's average yard per throw is 6.5

Vince Youngs average yard per throw is 5.7

    David Carr's TD/int ratio is 10/7

Vince Youngs TD/int ratio is 8/8

David Carr's QB rating is 88%

Vince Young's QB rating is 63.9%

Sounds to me like your assessment of these two quarterbacks is way off, at least at this point. My assessment of Carr as an "excellent QB" needs to be taken in context which you obviously don't understand. In other words I was not saying that Carr is as good as Manning etc, I was pointing out that he has very good physical skills. That cannot be argued with.

Anyway I'm tired of arguing with someone who follows the football media WAAAAAY to much.

Carr is in his 5th year and just now improving. Vince Young doing good his first year as a rookie, and will get better upcoming years. Young will progress faster than Carr.

The Texans are going backwards, not forward. They still 31st in defense, so that didn't change much since Capers was head coach. Offense? Still the same like last year. Only major difference, Carr has a better passer rating. Wow! You wanna cookie? Stats means nothing when a team still losing, even Kubiak mention that. View the press conferences sometime on houstontexans.com

Kubiak also mention when it comes to clinch time, the offense and Carr can not produce.

If you really think David Carr can take this team to the Super Bowl you're in dreamland, son. Slap yourself and stomp your feet, Carr and Super Bowl will never meet.

  2. Oh hell naw! David Carr is not even close on being an excellent quarterback. If you wanna talk about excellent quarterbacks let's talk about Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, or Bret Frave. Carr not even on the radar on being an excellent quarterback. He's good, but not exceelent.

Carr judgement is totally off, he thinks too much. If you don't see nobody open common sense run. Carr didn't throw a touchdown pass in 20 quarters the media said. That's 5 games. The only reason that he threw a touchdown pass in Jets game cause Jets spread out their defense in the 4th quarter. Even Kubiak mention toward the media that we still have to work on Carr's vision. I can not see Carr taking Texans to playoffs, if he does I won't be living to see it. A new quarterback have to step in and lead this team in the right direction.

I'm really crying inside on why the Texans passed up Vince Young.

Speaking of Vince Young. This man is going to be even better next year, the Titans going to be better. Texans still got their hands full next year in their division, cause each team will get better.

Watch out for the Titans. They will be goint to the playoffs very soon.

  3. They already talking about 2007 Draft. If Texans lose the rest of their remaining games they may have a chance on getting Brad Quinn, the highly ranked quarterback from Notre Dame. If the Texans do so, they might trade David Carr for another high

  4. I belong wherever I damn please, son. Shut up and take some act right.

Anyhow, Texans Rosenfels, Flanagan out for the season! Damn! When the sh** hits the fan, it really does. The sorry Texans signed former Denver quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt.

Meanwhile, Texans vice president of operations Dan Ferens has resigned. Ferens, a salary cap expert, who has negotiated Texans contracts since their inception, has returned to his home in Pittsburgh where he grew up and spent 15 years working for the Steelers.

General manager Rick Smith said Ferens resigned for personal reasons.

^^^ Yea, right. He resigned because he's tired of being around a bunch of losers.

  5. Bob McNair as a owner I think he don't what the hell he's doing, I swear he don't. He will end up selling the franchise to another billionaire in Texas.

The Texans in 5 years went to sugar to sh**. They should of save money by just keeping Dom Capers as head coach and have a new offense coordinator. Texans are the worst team again in the AFC, and probably 4th or 5th in the NFL.

When will this franchise learn? Next year? I doubt it. They may show a little improvement, but no playoffs.

For Kubiak? He's just a press box coach. He's just copying off of Bronocs head coach, Mike Shanahan. Thinking he could bring the same concept to Houston, wrong. Another couple years Kubiak will follow Capers on looking for a job. Next!?

    3-13 for this year!

  6. The Texans makes me tired and bored. Every Sunday I really do expect them to lose, or at lease they prove me wrong one Sunday. The Texans are not exciting anymore, cause you know what's going to happen each and every game. They pull the same crap every Sunday. Bob McNair should of saved money and kept Dom Capers, and hire Kubiak has the Offense Coordinator. I think what Capers needed was a good coaching staff. Really, he wasn't a bad coach.

Every team that's been down now rasing up to the occasion except the Texans. For instance, let's look at the teams that has new head coaches.

49ers - Last year they looked worster then the Texans, but now with a new head coach they playing .500 ball, 5-5.

Chiefs - They playing great with a new coach, with the record 7-4.

Jets - New coach with a 5-5 record.

New Orleans - Playing great with a new coach, 6-4.

Green Bay - Doing better with new coach, 4-6<---- better then the Texans record.

Now let's take a look at teams that bench their starting quarterbacks, and making leaps and bounds.

Dallas - After benching Drew Bleose. Tony Romo took over the starting position and now leads the Cowboys to two big victories. Can we say bye, bye, Belose?

Miami - After benching Culpepper. Joey Harrington tooked over leading the Dolphins to back to back victories. They're now 5-6.

Now, since McNabb is out for the season. Let's see Jeff Garcia could lend the Eagles to victories.

Remember Kubiak said when he got to Houston. He said Houston won't see another first round draft pick. <-----Looks like you heading that way again, Mr. Kubiak. After the Jets is the Toilet Bowl... Texans vs. Raiders!

  7. ^^^ Those six restaurants and two major tenants can easily pull out, don't you think?

Besides, they're not going to have residential at the pavilions. Why? I tell you why, cause it's not going to work downtown. People rather live in Uptown then Downtown.

Furthermore, if they cancel the residential from the Pavilions project. What makes you think the Park Tower going to do? Do you really think when they breakground they going to build a 42 story tower? Hell, no! I bet you they going to scale that project back to 30-32 stories, maybe less. But they will build the Park Tower, just because of the new urban park downtown. Look for a scale back tower coming soon.

  8. If they don't build the Pavilions this year, it will never happen. I don't care who the tenants are, cause they could easily pull out.

So, I'm telling y'all now. If no ground hasn't broken now until the end of this year, it will never happen. Waiting next year is like waiting on the Texans to go to the Super Bowl.

These type of projects always fall through. This will be another Shamrock.

  9. The Texans franchise remind me of the Oilers. They also didn't do as much as the Texans are doing now, until that someone, that special someone came alone and help the franchise and that was Earl Campbell.

Texans need that special someone to get them over that hill. Who could it be? I don't know. But, I'll tell you this. This franchise is slowly going down the toliet, slowly but surely. Every year for 5 seasons has been an losing season for this franchise.

For instance, look at the new soccer franchise, Houston Dynamos. This is their first year in Houston and they going to the MLS CUP. Great going guys. People want to see winners, not losers every weekend.

If the Texans don't straighten up their act on the field, you will see less and less people attending football games. I know I wouldn't won't to go see losers every weekend and I'm spending my money.

  10. Carr and Mario did good. Still wasn't enough for a win. Boy, boy, boy. Let's talk about the Houston Dynamos instead, cause these Texans depresses me. At lease the Dynamos are in the playoffs their first year.
