  1. Hey, who said Dallas doesn't have mountains?! Taken from my uncle's highrise off West Mockingbird and Harry Hines. Facing NW I believe.
  2. ^I believe I can see the crane tower from just north of Royal lane on Abrams. I drive that way often and it will be great to see it rise. This spot in Lake Highlands has a great view of the skyline some don't know about. Texan41 knows what Im talking about.
  3. Dallaz via SSC: " The Bank of America has closed and there's now a chain-link fence around the site..... "
  4. ^Holy.crap! I thought this project was a dud. Let's hope we see the crane up on this one. This will be the tallest thing constructed since the Museum Tower.
  5. Hello from the Dallas section of HAIF ya'll. I didn't know where to put my favorite photos of H-Town so I guess this is good enough. Sorry if some of these photos have already been posted. I haven't checked the other threads out. Feel free to add your own random favs. No category required.
  6. Im sure there will be a cat park where you can chase squirrels and do cat stuff.
  7. Chin up ol' boy. Don't get down. I know you really want it built. Just think positive.
  8. The mayor Mike Rawlings just proposed a new Trinity River plan a couple of weeks ago. It looks amazing and it deals with the flooding issues too.. Im not sure its been posted on here yet. http://cityhallblog.dallasnews.com/2016/05/rawlings-hopes-250-million-trinity-river-park-moves-from-concept-to-reality-by-2021.html/
  9. ^So this thing might be bigger and taller? Hmm. Cool.
  10. Taken from Cityplace no doubt but we need larger more expansive views like they do for Houston. There's a video on youtube taken from White Rock Lake that shows the whole cityscape and its impressive. Photographers should take note of that location.
  11. Yea because Houston built it. (HInes)
  12. Not sure what the numbers are but I know they're good. DART has spread everywhere. I guess now this can be the default DART thread. Im interested in the Dallas to Houston bullet train too.
  13. These 2 30 story+ bldgs are really gonna help change the cityscape in that area but dang Bleu Ciel seems so slow to grow.
  14. With so many companies trying to attract Millienials....isn't that age discrimination? Im 3 years removed from being a millienial and the thought of being passed up for a position ,even if I have more experience, for some Vine, snapchat, instacrap obsessed youngster (no offense to you all)just doesnt seem right at all. It isnt. And keep in mind millienials: The same will happen to you.
  15. 15 years is too long haha. Hopefully less than 5. They need to be creative on how to get it done. Its gonna have to be mixed use with residential like LA's Wilshire Grand.
  16. Excellent compilation as always Sic'em! Good additional info Houston19514. 13 out of 25. Not bad at all Just remember a year or so ago many of those 13 were also speculative.
  17. Finally a crane up on the Rolex building. NativeHoustonion will be very pleased. haha.
  18. Great photo but its crazy that's its already outdated without Mckinney/Olive etc..
  19. Both will look gorgeous. Im excited about the Mckenzie. Its gonna look great in that area. I can't wait for some photos on the Case Towers in Deep Ellum.
  20. ^Can't wait to see some renders! Hope they'll make it gorgeous and get some design cues from Houston's 2929 Weslayan 40 story.
