HCAD shows Westheimer Retail Center, Ltd as the owner. Westheimer Retail Center, Ltd is registered to Lovett Commercial. And Sawyer Ice House LLC is registered to Frank Lui of Lovett Commercial, who is also developing Post HTX in downtown.

More on The Revaire, the adaptive reuse of the Delta Fastener warehouse at 7122 Old Katy Rd. From Houston Business Journal: The team behind Houston-based A Fare Extraordinaire will open an events venue at the site of the former Delta Fastener warehouse in late spring 2018. The Revaire will occupy 25,000 square feet on nearly 4 acres inside the 610 Loop and off Old Katy Road, where it will offer catering and event design services as well as a luxury venue, according to a press release. Owners and husband-and-wife duo, Rachael and Jason Volz, bought the property in August from Houston-based developer Braun Enterprises. Martin Bronstein of BHW Commercial Real Estate represented the Volzes in the deal. The building originally served as a munition factory during World War II, and Delta Fastener occupied it for 30 years more recently. ...Now, San Francisco-based MAK Studio Architects, Houston-based Collaborative Projects Construction and Houston-based Synergeer Engineering are working to redevelop the building into The Revaire. It will feature mercury glass doors, 30-foot black bow truss ceilings, a column-free floor plan and stained concrete floors. On the possibility of Braun Enterprises constructing their original plans for Old Katy Rd to the Galleria: Braun had planned to redevelop it into a beer garden and food court. Late last year, Swamplot reported that Braun had acquired the property in November 2016.   11. Me when I saw the title of the thread: Me after reading the article and the news is sinking in: This is superb news to my ears! I'm glad to know Skanska isn't done with downtown Houston. Although there aren't more details known publicly, I have no doubt this will be way better than Midway's Greenstreet mixed use.

In an interview with Houston Business Journal, Braun Enterprises explains why they nixed their plans for food hall Height Market, planned for the Delta Fastener warehouse at 7122 Old Katy Rd. Braun was originally planning to develop 30,000 square feet of creative office space in the former Delta Fastener warehouse, which it acquired in December 2016, but Braun Enterprises wound up selling that property to a Houston-based events company. In January 2017, two months after Braun acquired the property, A Fare Extraordinaire reached out to Braun Enterprises about leasing the space as an event venue, Braun said. At this point, Braun Enterprises had already invested in an architect and was designing the property to include creative office space, a food hall and other tenants, but the company fell in love with A Fare Extraordinaire's idea for the historic warehouse. "We wanted to lease it, but they were adamant about buying," Braun said. "It was a very friendly transaction." Braun said the company made a profit on the sale, but called the transaction a very fair deal. "We’ve never sold something like that," Braun said. "This was our first time selling something where we didn’t implement our plan. … But we felt like (A Fair Extraordinaire) is the right use there. It's such a neat use." Got creative and was able to download the remaining renderings of the proposed Heights Market development ( food hall , market , offices ,brewery ) from Braun Enterprises (7122 Old Katy Rd). These aren't hi-res but it's better than nothing.

This is all I was able to obtain from the free version of Loop Net, for those that didn't see this when it first went up: It's redevelopment project of the Delta Fastener warehouse at 7122 Old Katy Rd. Braun Enterprises is redeveloping this into a mixed-use development. There will be retail space for retail,brewery, restaurants, a food hall, and open-space concepts. It’s the former home of Trinity Foster Care.
