No activity at all on the construction cam. Does anybody know when they'll start work?
-
Agreed! Update here:
Given how quickly and cheaply this is getting done, I don't see any how there could be any real legitimate argument against more.
Oh, and I'm sourcing these pics from Bike Houston- 6

Wish they kept the glass corner but I agree... I have high hopes for this development.
So does the rest of Atlanta

I like it, should fit in well with other planned residential projects in the area.

I found a mention of it in this article. It seems the armadillos used to block off the lane are all backordered, and they hope to complete it this Spring. -
Remember last Fall when the Chron reported on a protected bike lane in downtown. Anybody know what ever happened to that? I remember them claiming it would be built in October, but then it fell off the radar.

I'm not too familiar with Dallas, but is that big area in the foreground with all the trees a park, or just undeveloped lots?

Why is this 5 story building taking so long? It seems like it has been under construction forever. Hasn't it been like 10 months and this is as far along as they are. . .
For comparison, it seems like Skyhouse was basically wrapping up the time into the project.

I wonder what that man is thinking. "Is this a golf course or office building?"

Im trying to infer what the style will be based on that logo. I'm gonna guess faux historical.

This looks itty bitty on the Downtown Development Map:
This really saddens me. This lot always felt special to me, like it deserves something grand coming out of Green Street, not a dinky highrise on a parking lot.

These new apartments look boring, nothing special about them, they lack visual vision on part of the developers. If I were in charge, I would incorporate some of the Spanish style architecture in these new apartments to fit in with its neighbor building on Isabella street.
Couldn't disagree more. I love how sleek these are and having an eclectic mix of styles in one area.

So I was looking at the EarthCam for McKinney and Olive, and theres something under construction across the street, and what looks like another lot being developed diagonally across the street. Does anybody know what they are?
