    Chicago was nice, but why now? I was there and Lake Michigan was frozen and all my food was cold. We will pass them up in population on 2017!

    US Airways is almost gone from Star Alliance today! Thank GOD! The worst carrier I have every been on and they are going to run American Airlines. Hehe they have have Shares computer system and AA has Sabre. Cannot wait till they switch to Sabre. Make sure you do not fly that day. EVA would be great from IAH you could be right.

    They can use Terminal E since they are a partner with United. Last week I saw TK parked at Terminal E.

    I knew a Star Alliance partner with United Airlines was coming. There could be more.

    Jet Airways could fly here since we have a large India population.

    Air New Zealand there is no market there. The country has just has 4 million in population. Aeroflot I would not get on the plane! South African could work but as of now from JNB to JFK it has to refuel in Dakar. Qantus flies from DFW with a stop in Brisbane to refuel. TAM is now with Oneworld but they always concentrate in Brazil and South America. They fly to MIA and JFK and Europe.

    I think Thai would be one of them. They can connect to United to fly to Latin America.

    I'm sure they are considering. Since IAH had 9 million international passengers a record. They would love a piece of the pie from Emirates and Qatar. Mr. Diaz said 4 other carriers are looking at flying here.

    Your right, but we should wait till everything is built. I had a draw dropper on USA Today which had a travel section on Texas. They has a lot of stuff on there including Houston as the largest city in Texas. Then they showed the Dallas skyline as the most beautiful in the country! It was a night with all the buildings with LEED lights on them. Pretty good job since their downtown is 30% empty. That would be a way for people to come downtown. 609 Main will have LEED lights on the top, Skansa and Marriott also. We need to light up on skyline.

    Called the COH and they advised me that Gables wants clear title where Steel used to be before they build that apartment complex. It is on the other side where Steel St. dead ends. Gables said they want to build park there. It is just a apartment complex. Why do they need clear title unless something else is going on?

    Just check census.gov and DFW is at 6,810,913 and Houston, The Woodlands, Sugar Land is at 6,313,158 with Houston the largest increase in the U.S. Harris grew by 83,000 and Maricopa added 69,000. And this from July 2012-July 2013. Sorry moderator get back to the topic. These apts. downtown I'm sure they will fill up quickly.

    Maricopa County is over 9,000 square miles and their population has slowed. DFW almost includes all of north Texas I'm sure Fort Worth hates being second fiddle. Yes the latest census just see our metro area closing the gap. But we know how better and bigger we are. It is getting crazy here. Everybody we meet going out are somewhere else.

    Not impressed with W Hotel in Dallas. This hotel looks fabulous, when built I may stay there for a weekend. Great design, what a impact it will make.

    Sorrell Off Greenbiar Dr. And W. Alabama St. There is a sign there requested to abandon this street by the COH. Gambles is across the street I wonder if they bought that lot. Anybody knows anything?

    Did I miss it, what firmed designed this flawless building. Very New York, Downtown is on fire! I hope I can survive it.

    So what is would be a alternative. I could walk 2 blocks and get on the University Line. Maybe you do nor live in the Upper Kirby District, but traffic is bad. So stupid with million dollars homes with torn up roads and no rail.

    Slick Vik I went to a fundraiser and Ellen the Mayor Parker were there and said they are working on a plan to get the University Line built.

    Think about it at United for a non premier. They paid $25 for bags, Then $7 for a hamburger, They paid $25 to check in at the Premier line, then watched Direct TV for $6. That is one way and duty free. Southwest will loose money without any amenities. Customer in Latin America want fist class. We will see how it works. AirTran to Latin America has so many complaints because they suck. You get what you pay for.

    I remember jetBlue started flights from EWR to Florida for $54 each way. At that time Continental Airlines match it and added more flights. Almost every Premier member got their FREE upgrades. Continental had 15 non stops to FLL. After one year jetBlue pulled out and consertrated on JFK. jetBlue also did $15 one way tickets from JFK to BOS it only lasted a few months. United does not seem WN is a major problem. They only will have 5 gates. American Airlines is the largest carrier to Latin America and they do not want to give them a share of the pie. Each airlines looks at PRASM, person, revenue, available, per mile. How much did that customer spent on their seat and how much the airlines spent.
