They want to be independent because they are growing. United did nothing wrong they just now want their own program. Continental created COPA with great service. Continental bought them 737-700 jets and they are renovation PTY Airport. So all is good. Because of the bad weather yesterday I got off the plane because of weather and United had my next flight booked with business. I hate they moved to Chicago but there are still 17,000 employees here to help. We are still the largest hub.

This is a upgrade to handle their customers and compete more. Their are still part of Star Alliance. You are just a United hater.
-
For what, Continental created COPA look at the plane tail. They have did so well from PTY there are ready to compete more. Does that answer you question, or you fly once a year?
-
They will have there own frequent flyer program on June. No more United will handle it.
in June or July but earn lower miles.

arche_757 has been right for many years but this is how Spirit works. They rely more on their ancillary revenue. As a whole this would be great for our city.

I checked Spirit Airlines website. It look a minor designed it. You have to look very hard for there extra fees. I checked IAH to FLL 12/01-1206 and Sprit was $301 roundtrip and United was $348. Be very careful because they make bundle. If you check in with a gate agent that is $5. If you do not prepaid your carry on bag it is $100. Seat assignments start at $5.00 to $12.00. You must pay a fee to book online which does not any make sense. Your seat pitch is 2 inches and the seats do not recline. They stack you in like sardines. Be careful if you pay for your bag when to book it is $26. I loved when they disclose jet fuel is free!

Good for IAH with Spirit adding flights even though they suck. The best thing about is those customers that do not know how fly will take Spirit! They are so irritating how exciting!

Thanks for the input I appreciated it. Hopefully it will get built. With 800 Bell (ExxonMobile) starting construction next year with tunnel access and a nice building I have my doubts. A friend of mine transferred from SFO by Chevron last year. He has heard nothing about construction of this building and is a engineer. He has two more years to retire and loves it here and may stay. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Looks like the construction camera got knocked down.

Oh great just got back in town. Might go to "Flying Saucer" to check it out.

Does not sound good. It may be those skyscrapers that never get built. Last year it made national news and bring lots jobs to Houston. Chevron was so committed to Houston. Now it sits as a piece of grass.

EDIT- Houston has nada!

They are building two underground floors according to Emporis. It will start rising soon.

Nothing on the table! What a shame.

How funny! United it's not getting sued. Southwest is and well did MEL come in to this? You low life that fly once a year.
-
I don't want to fly on plane with the roof falling off. 40 years what a diss. It is all over the news. Hope your wig stays on!
-
They also cheap taken care of their planes. Customer safety is the main issue which they do not care.
-
Oh you will get next year. Talking about loyal, I would not worry about it. Welcome back.

They belong to Oneworld and Emirates has control here getting ready to fly the Airbus 380. All the America carriers should be warned. Emirates, Qatar, Etihad are owned by the government. They don't have to pay their jet fuel. Lufthansa Airlines is forcing Germany to force them and not give them more slots to land there.

Well Global Services! United is doing vey well now. Went to Boston and the new terminal was great. I flew on a ER-175 jet in first class how nice. United is getting rid of those small ERJs thank god! Send some pics.

How nice I had to go to EWR to fly to New Delhi. I paid $250 plus 20,000 miles. You had a good deal.

the beaches are beautiful.

United has service via NRT and the planes are full. Yes we do need non-stop service. When United gets 15 787s next year all based in Houston (IAH) who knows?
