KimberlySayWhat
34 for the Dallas, Forth Worth area total? That doesn't sound right. If so I have to say I'm impressed. 46 for NY? Daaang!
houstonfella
For what it's worth, here's the link from today's Chronicle; Houston now has 10 billionaires, up 3 from last year. We already know Harris County has the most millionaires in Texas. There's some money down here on the bayou Houston's Billionaires

TJones
The most jacked up part of the forbes 400, is that there are NO millionares! NOT ONE STNKIN' MILLIONAIRE. I guess if it were a list of 500 some riff raffs would have snuck in.
Houston1stWordOnTheMoon
The true determination of status is by the number of millionaires one particular area has. Multiple millionaires is a better indicator---meaning the wealth is spread and possibly easier to attain as opposed to having a hand full of billionaires hogging up all the money

Fort Lauderdale, Florida has been considered one of the richest cities in America, and has more Ferrari retail there than anywhere in North America. Obviously hundreds of millionaires and a few billionaires own homes there, but most of them also own homes on other cities/states. Would that count as residence? To clarify, if a billionaire owns multiple private homes for themselves, technically would that mean a billionaire could count more than one residency? Or if Donald Trump were to buy an additional house for himself in Houston, would Houston technically have it's 11th billionaire according to Forbes? zebra
i guess i didnt realise how rich Houston actually is. Even tho Dallas has more billonares, its only 3 more than Houston which is pretty impresive for Houston . But we still have more millonares

Things like voters registration and drivers licenses etc etc are based on your primary residence. Imagine if you were allowed to have multiple primary residences....the voting situation in this country would be in a shambles!!!!
Willy1
Y'all are right... I checked it out. I forgot to include the 1 billionaire in The Woodlands for Houston's numbers. So, Houston Metro does have 10 Billionaires.
