hindesky
There are a bunch of workers doing sidewalk replacements and now repaving along Hawthorne St. Problem is when the city starts building the 72" waterline they are going to tear up this portion of the street with open trenching, from Garrot St to Audubon St about 60-70 yds will be dug up next spring. Seems like no coordination between projects. Edited July 22, 2022 by hindesky

And for mere lipstick. These asphalt covers will be rollercoaster rides yet again next year.

People complain when the streets are garbage and then complain when the city actually does something. You can never win. The overlays are really great and a good use of funds. Since every street can't undergo a massive reconstruction, this is what should be done until the proper funds become available. hindesky
They have started paving Hawthorne and it's creating very heavy traffic while they close down lanes on both Montrose Blvd and Hawthorne.
