More changes at Sports Radio 610 KILT-AM Houston: Rich Lord & Mike Meltzer out

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Good Morning everyone. Unless you're living under a rock, looks like changes have taken place at Sports Radio 610 KILT-AM Houston...

Rich Lord, the station's longtime afternoon host of "The Triple Threat" was let go alongside Mike Meltzer of the Morning Show as Sports Radio 610 is making an attempt in boosting their flagging ratings, which had imploded since 2017.

Here's the new line-up:

6:00 AM to 10:00 AM "Payne & Pendergast"

10:00 AM to 2:00 PM "In the Loop"

2:00 PM to 6:00 PM "Clint & Kamla"

6:00 PM to 7:00 PM "Texans All Access"

7:00 PM to 9:00 PM "The Six Pack with Matthew Jarecki"

9:00 PM to 11:00 PM "Matthew Jarecki"

Any thoughts on the new line-up at Sports Radio 610 KILT-AM Houston ?

A.) Love It

B.) Hated It

C.) TBD

I liked it when Rich Lord and Charlie Pallilo were together many years ago best. They seemed to be good together. The Triple Threat stuff was hard to listen to. 3 guys all trying to talk at the same time makes for hard to hear to anybody.

Good riddance, I couldn't stand the guy and that idiot redneck from Baytown needs to go too. I tried to listen to them but couldn't stand more than a few minutes before I changed the channel. Houston sports talk is pure garbage, I usually just end up going back to NPR or music since the locals guys are not that good. Adam Clantonon 790  is a pure douchebag bro but his partner Adam Wexler is pretty good.

Rick Kamla is gone after only a couple of months at 610, moving on to Sirius XM. I like Clint Stoerner, and the guys who have filled in for Kamla this week have been decent.

Sounds like more house cleaning is coming.
