I would love to compare it to the present day number.Why not instead take a look at a list of completion dates for every high-rise (+13 floors), and assume at least two for the taller ones. Skyscrapers.com use to have a list that could be sorted by completion date. I wouldn't trust the numbers on Skyscraperpage. In fact I don't know how big HAIF's database is, but start there.
