  4. Seabrook Town Center "...The Seabrook Town Center, just north of the intersection of State Highway 146 and Repsdorph Road, has been in the works for some years, but finally all puzzle pieces seem to be in place for the project to become a reality. Houston-based HS Development Group, typically focused on multifamily and student housing, acquired the 19.5-acre property earlier this month from Santa Barbara, California-based Pacific Ridge. HS took over the contract from Houston-based WMF Investments in February, HS Development Group COO Steve Helm said... ...The plan includes a four-story, 322-unit apartment complex and 19,000 square feet of retail and restaurants surrounding a plaza with event lawn as well as some office space. “We’ll have a stage. There'll be a turf surface for kids to play ball or whatever on and four … pad sites,” Helm said. “They could be restaurant or retail pads out front along (Highway) 146.” The 19.5-acre development will be called The Edge at Seabrook Town Centre, the spelling of “center” notably different from the overall Seabrook Town Center, which includes a few more acres to the south..."
  5. Greystar Buffalo Speedway Total Cost: $42,365,000 Scope of Work: 378-Unit, 3-Story surfaced parking, garden style apartment complex. Owner: Greystar Development Architect: Meeks + Partners
  6. Anyone have experience with the apartment complex called Westridge Gardens located in the Texas Medical Center at 2501 Westridge Street? I wonder how much longer this garden-style multifamily complex can last? I bet it will be demolished for a mid-rise building within 10 to 15 years. Westridge Gardens may have been called South Main Apartments at one time? Their website mentions South Main Apartments several times. Not exactly located on South Main, but within 1 or 2 miles probably. Website: https://www.residenceatwestridge.com/
  7. Anybody have knowledge about the old garden-style apartment complex located in the Texas Medical Center called The Daphne located at 1800 El Paseo Street? Garden style apartments are so much cheaper than your typical 4/5 story midrise that everyone is building these days. Website: https://www.thedaphneapartments.com/
  8. Anyone have experience with Avanti Cityside apartments located at 7373 Ardmore Street? Looks to be a TCR project from 2006/2007: Project Name: Alexan Cityside Developer: Trammell Crow Residential Address: 7373 Ardmore Street Size: 378-rental units in a 4-story building on 6.57-acres Architect: Wallace/Garcia & Associates Completion Date: January 2007 Website: https://www.avanticityside.com/ Buddy of mine wants to move closer to the medical center, but not directly in front. I mentioned the industrial area of Corder/Ardmore would be a good idea. I didn't see this multifamily complex on HAIF so I wanted to ask around for any reviews. I'm going to mention this one and the Virtuo Med Center located down the block at 7110 Ardmore St.
  9. I heard rumors of a residential building planned for block 387. I finally saw something that gave that rumor some credence although I don't have anything substantial - this should be taken with a grain of salt. Soil samples.
  10. New 420-unit apartments to be built on 19101 Kuykhendahl Rd. at Spring Cyprus Rd. Based on the owner address, it seems to be associated with Greystar, though they have nothing on their site. Design by Meeks + Partners.
