tamarah Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 I'm just curious as to whether there's something similar to a restaraunt I heard about in Zurich (I can't think of its name @the moment, but it exists and there will be one opening in manhattan as well); the owner + staff are blind, most of the restaraunt is painted black and it's meant to be an experience of texture tasting as the patrons eat in darkness. Seems interesting. Also, I found it neat that there were some home-grown "clubs" if you call it for parents to be able to enjoy music and dancing in a positive environment (no alcohol + no deragatory music) with their little ones in Berkeley, Ca. Does anyone know of similar opportunities in the houston area? I live between N. Ca, the houston area and bavaria throughout the year and would like to get a heads up of what groovy places to go to upon return. Thanks in advance!
