Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 Magnolia Court project still planned - 7/10/2006 (Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown: Housing) (Galveston) - Magnolia Court, a Galveston development that will offer new homes at middle-income prices, will be located between Heards Lane and Jones Drive at 72nd, 73rd and 74th streets. Developer Fedro Custom Homes said construction should begin in 30 to 45 days on the first six houses of the 58-home project. Home prices are $180,000 to $240,000. VicMan Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I wonder if there will be any more middle-income developments extending west; A lot of middle-class people fled Galveston and Galveston ISD for League City and Texas City (and their school districts), so the city and school district need to promote more development within their boundaries.
