foxmulder
Anyone have any info on the railroad bridge about 10 miles south from Refugio? On US 77 right at the curve there is a huge steel railroad bridge. There is a little driveway and river but i'm not asking to get stranded in my car. Guest Marty
The rail road was laid in December 1905.
gonzo1976
What river does this bridge cross?I could have sworn there was a railroad bridge just outside of Refugio on the south side of town, too. I didn't take U.S. 77 past Refugio very often because it was one boring drive. I would take the back roads to get to Corpus.
Guest Marty
The Aransas River is about 12 miles south of Refugio.
editor
Aerial photos of the area don't look special. The driveways I see all lead to the usual maze of trails you see for oil and gas wells.

Nothing spectacular but good in my book
