Dominax
Chicago Chicago has been at 2.8 million for many years! Will Chicago ever reach to 3,000,000 people If not will Houston surpass Chicago in the next 10 years.
editor
I think I saw a chart somewhere once that showed Chicago with well over three million people in the past -- like near four million, but that it's been losing people for the last 30 years or so, so it's down to 2.8 mil.But I wouldn't be surprised to see that number rise by the 2014 census. I know the trends all show the population shrinking, but it's hard to believe considering the number of new homes and condo towers going up everywhere. Will Houston ever catch Chicago? Yep. I don't doubt it.
