KimberlySayWhat
Is that an oxymoron? http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/bus/...ab.7b6ef28.html I guess NYC., L.A., Miami, etc, would be embarrased to have it so they'll experiment on Plano. JasonDFW
Is that an oxymoron? http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/bus/...ab.7b6ef28.html I guess NYC., L.A., Miami, etc, would be embarrased to have it so they'll experiment on Plano. This may be common knowledge here but Walmart tries a lot of new things in DFW as its really the first major market they've focused on. Its sort of their test market for major metros. I believe it was the first major market where they attempted, and eventually took the dominant position grocery stores for instance. Previous to that they only dominated more rural areas. I believe there are around ~105 Walmarts of various types in Dallas-Fort Worth, which is the most of any metro. I think I had read Houston was the next market they intended to saturate. Something about Texas they like I guess, for better or worse. Jason
