hindesky Posted April 22 Share Posted April 22 The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents voted Thursday to begin construction on the $370 million State Emergency Operations Center and agency headquarters for the Texas Division of Emergency Management just east of Austin’s Bergstrom International Airport. texan Posted April 23 Share Posted April 23 (edited) The first portion of this project was approved in May of 2023, the second portion in November of 2023, and a third portion was added to the scope of the project and approved for construction in February of this year. The third portion adds $62.5 million bringing the full project to $423.2 million and includes a parking garage, warehouse, and adds a 6th floor to the office building.
