I've almost been hit twice in the last week by red light runners, and today while waiting for the bus in front of my apartment complex, I saw a speeding car running a red light on North Braeswood almost take out another car with a mother and her children that she had just picked up from school. Obviously HPD can't be at every intersection all the time, and we can't depend on Houston drivers to obey traffic laws and drive with some sense of safety.
