ChannelTwoNews Posted January 30 Share Posted January 30 Western Galveston getting mixed-use with hotel, condos, restaurants - Houston Business Journal (bizjournals.com) "Mohamed Eldawy, through his new company, Royal Crown Enterprise LLC, last month purchased about 16 acres on the western-most edge of the Seawall from members of the Maceo family, a famous Galveston clan that goes back to the island’s gambling and bootlegging era of the early 20th century." The site would be built out in three phases. The first would begin sometime next year. Phase I -Bars & restaurants built "around a courtyard" - per the article -10 to 12 story condo tower (270-300 2 and 3 bedroom units) Phase II -7 story senior living building (80 1 and 2 bedroom units) -7 story hotel (120-150 rooms) Phase III -2 building, 270 unit apartment complex of unknown height 6 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
