pineda
story about those quietly earmarked projects you don't get to hear aboutPoor Mike McCaul, he forgets that he represents Spring now, not just Austin or Tomball. Too bad when they redrew District 10, we couldn't have ended up in Ted Poe's area. Even though he represents Dist. 2, you can reach him and talk to him. McCaul has never even stopped by in Spring, now we know why at least.Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, who along with Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Austin, secured $15 million in earmarks for the Grand Parkway loop around Houston, said there should be a moratorium on the practice until the budget is balanced. ENGcons
Why would Mike care what happens in Spring when his district stretches all the way to Cedar Park in Austin? He probably has no idea about the concerns the residents have about the Grand Parkway, and probably doesn't care like most politicians. I find it funny that they call Section F2 controversial. The controversy is that the politicians want the road, the citizens don't. So much for the voice of the people.
