Perhaps taken from downtown looking past what is now the 59 elevated and toward Navigation?Bus StationYes - like musicman said, it's Market Square - looking, I guess, about due north. The "bus station" building shown is actually the old city hall and market house - its fourth incarnation at that location. The building shown was built in 1904, served as city hall until 1939, but stood until 1960. The land underneath it is now Market Square. Musicman can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the little barber shop just to the right of the main building as you're looking at it in the photo is the building that now houses La Carafe.
