Highrise Tower Posted February 10, 2023 Share Posted February 10, 2023 I was browsing the newspaper The Rice Thresher dated November 14, 1986 and came across an advertisement for Bissonnet Plaza Apartments located at 5104 Buffalo Speedway. There were two different apartment complexes on each side of the street. Looks to be have built in the 1950s and demolished in the late 1980s or 1990s. The two shopping centers were built in replace of these apartments? Plaza In The Park Shopping Center and Terrace Shops Shopping Center. Any pictures of the apartment complex? Did anyone happen to live here? These prices listed! $260 for a studio apartment in Greenway Plaza/West University? 37 years later and I'm sure that $260 apartment would be $1,260. So crazy!
