westguy Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 A little history for HAIF, Back in the day, after races at Meyer's Speedway on Hillcroft Street & South Main Street we used to go to the small convenience store/ice house called Super Serv located on South Post Oak Road near South Main Street. Edit: The ice house had a few nick names. We also called it the South Post Oak Ice House. The bar backed up to Waukesha Pearce Industries which is located at 12320 South Main Street. I had some wild, wild times there! Good old South Main! This was before commercial development really took off in Southwest Houston. Anyone else recall this place? Share your memories and photos!
