Dominax
Went to NOLA this past weekend to visit my sister who returned there in December. She was fortunate to be living along St. Charles where the floodwaters did not reach and referred to the unflooded portion of town as "The Island." Once away from "the island" the remains of one of America's great cities is a truly unbelievabe sight. Block after block after mile after mile of flooded homes, businesses, cars.... We were also there for a Second Line parade which was awesome. It was vintage New Orleans, parading through the streets having a beer and listening to great music. Although much progress has been made, NOLA still has a log way to go. Now to some pictures...Click here!!!http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=96765 Edited January 22, 2006 by Dominax
