editor Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 It's about time. Texas is waaaaaay behind every other state on the I-69 corridor in getting this done. The article mentions that a group was formed 12 years ago to promote I-69 through Texas. I assume they were formed and paid for with tax dollars. 12 years later, what does Texas have to show for it? A handful of signs reading "Future I-69 Corridor" most of which are gone now. Here's a web site listing the status of I-69 in each state. The only place where it's completed is Michigan.
