editor
Hello everyone, Just a quick note that today HAIF was served with a legal notice because of an image uploaded by a user. I'll take care of it on my end, and everything should be OK. But it's a good time to remind everyone of the rules. Specifically, that people shouldn't upload images they don't own, didn't take, or that aren't free of copyright. Also, they shouldn't copy-and-paste full articles from other web sites. The best practice there is to always summarize and link. Because of the legal method used by the complaintant, HAIF could have been knocked offline by its hosting company. I got the e-mail this morning because I'm still working from home. But if everything eventually goes back to the way it used to be, I can sometimes be without internet access for days at a time. That's why I'm reminding everyone. As always, if you have any questions, e-mail me directly: editor@houstonarchitecture.com. 2
