When John Montford arrived on the Texas Tech campus in 1996, he set about some incredible plans for the campus that are coming to fruition. The University commissioned a Master Plan that included strict adherence to the Spanish Renaissance-style of architecture that is part of Tech's heritage, massive tree planting and landscaping efforts, and 2% of each new facilities ($1 Billion thus far) to go towards Art & Landscape projects. The following are some of the recently commissioned works on the Texas Tech campus:
