Heartwarming Houston

A co-worker came in this morning. He was off work yesterday. He said, "You know what happened?" My wife and I were at Target and when I got out of the car, I saw a couple of La. tags. The people had some children. The co-worker's wife said, "It's too hot to be out here." The neighbors replied, "We are working with the Red Cross and waiting for them to come out here." The co-worker said, "Across the street is a restaurant. Go over there and order and I'll pick up the tab." He did. That's what, as a Houstonian, I admire most about my city. Caring people.
